In 2007, award-winning producer, Jayson Zellman and long-time television and marketing executive Matthew Marcus became partners to form a full-service production and marketing company entitled High Heat Media.

The partners formed High Heat Media with the understanding that the evolution of marketing and video is changing rapidly. More and more, corporations are trying to find new ways to entertain, educate and entice their consumers and employees alike.

The exciting part of the business is that seemingly every day, there is a new distribution tool that allows video content to be seen by the most important people to our clients. Whether the distribution is through the internet, in-store, mobile phone or (astonishingly) the old fashioned way – the television – creating and developing compelling video content is the most persuasive way to teach, create brand recognition and drive revenue.

Jayson Zellman
Jayson Zellman always knew he wanted to produce content in an effort to educate, entertain and inform through the use of video. As such, Jay established Corporate Video Concepts, which has proven to be one of New York’s leading production companies specializing in the corporate video and live event needs for Fortune 500 companies, major corporations and local businesses.
A proficient skill set as a producer, director, writer and editor has allowed Jay to understand all facets of the video business and serve as a hands-on guide through any production for his clients.
Jay’s experience has given him a clear understanding of the needs and sensitivities of the corporate culture, but he also knows when it is important to entertain. That is why he has produced well over 500 projects for clients as varied as Meridian Financial Group and Unilever to the production of music videos for independent rock bands and live runway shows for Brooks Brothers and Ann Taylor.
Other projects have included training, corporate and marketing reels for top retailers such as Party City and Tiffany & Co.; live event audio and visual production for The Children’s Place; CEO messaging and product launches for Clinique and FAO Schwarz; product knowledge videos for King Pharmaceuticals and imaging pieces for Aveda. Jay was also responsible for providing the innovative audiovisual entertainment program TaxiVu to the backseats of New York City’s taxi cabs.
Born and raised in New York, Jay is a voracious writer, who is always working on new screenplays. A graduate of The State University of New York at Stony Brook, Jay currently resides in Manhattan with his best friend and dog, Bogey.

Matthew Marcus
Matthew Marcus has spent most of the last 15 years entrenched in the entertainment industry specializing in television and comedy projects.
10 years ago, USA Network transferred Matthew from its New York office to start up a Los Angeles corporate communications division. In addition to handling the media for West Coast corporate needs, Matthew also oversaw all publicity on series and movies coming from the area including Silk Stalkings, Pacific Blue, Renegade and others.
From there, Matthew joined Stone Stanley Entertainment, which at the time was an up ‘n coming production company that was about to join the forefront of the reality television rage. For 6 ½ years Matthew served as SVP, Business Development & Marketing for the company that produced high profile series such as The Mole for ABC; Popstars for The WB; Fame for NBC and The Joe Schmo Show for Spike TV. The company also produced successful sketch comedy and game shows including The Man Show for Comedy Central and Shop ‘til You Drop for PAX.
In his role running the Business Development & Marketing departments Matthew was responsible for establishing ancillary revenue streams and marketing/publicity plans for the brands controlled by Stone Stanley Entertainment. Whether it meant attaching a tween-retailer like Wet Seal to Popstars; producing a deal for the distribution of The Man Show on DVD; selling The Mole to Canada, Asia and Africa; or developing the Shop ‘til You Drop mobile game and slot machine, Matthew was always looking for new ways to extend the company’s brands and increase revenue.
Matthew spent the next year as VP of Business and Creative Development for Triage Entertainment and Levity Productions. As the company that controls the The Improv Comedy Club brand, Matthew put together a branding partnership that incorporated the famed stand-up hub with MySpace.com’s first foray into comedy. Additionally, he arranged for the company to produce and distribute stand-up material into the world of home video, internet and mobile phones.
Prior to the formation of High Heat Media, Matthew began consulting on behalf of production companies specializing in brand integration on reality television programming. Most recently, Matthew was instrumental in the launch of Bravo’s Top Design. Among the partners he positioned into the series include Lumber Liquidators, Pratt & Lambert and numerous showrooms in the Pacific Design Center.
A native of Long Island, New York, Matthew is a graduate of The University of Maryland, College Park. He currently lives in Santa Monica, California with his beautiful wife Meredith and their adorable daughter Alexandra.

June 1, 2007 – New York, NY –Corporate Video Concepts (CVC), widely considered one of the most successful corporate video production companies in New York, has added longtime television marketing executive Matthew Marcus as a new partner.  The announcement was made today by Jayson Zellman, owner and multi-award winning executive producer of Corporate Video Concepts.  Effective immediately, Zellman and Marcus will each control 50% of the company now entitled High Heat Media, LLC. 
High Heat Media (HHM) will maintain CVC’s existing offices in New York and establish a new branch in Los Angeles.  The company will expand CVC’s considerable expertise in all areas of video production to become a full-service marketing entity and media production company.   HHM will work with the impressive client base that Zellman’s CVC has amassed including Brooks Brothers, Tiffany & Co, The Children’s Place, Party City, Journey’s, Two Trees Management and The Meridian Financial Group.

Matthew Marcus brings 15 years of experience in the areas of public relations, marketing and business development.  For the past 12 years, he has been a senior executive and consultant in the world of television where he has developed new business opportunities for companies such as leading reality television producer Stone Stanley Entertainment and Levity Productions (The Improv Comedy Club Chain).  During those years, Marcus expanded the brands of the programming he was working on into the areas of home video and audio, mobile programming and gaming, merchandising, product placement, client-integrated programs and online partnerships.  He also ran the west coast corporate communications office for USA Network and served as an account executive for the prestigious public relations agencies Rachel McCallister and Associates (entertainment) and Ruder Finn (healthcare).
